The person who performed this test used stacked paper plates as a test medium. Granted, it’s a bit back-woods, but compressed paper is quite tough and not a bad analogue for bone and heavy muscle. The latter platform handles the .30-30 Winchester, .444 Marlin, .45 Colt/.410, .45-70, .450 Marlin, .460 S&W and .500 S&W.
