Meet Arnold. Jul 24, 2018. Meet the newest member of the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center family, Arnold. Arnold is a male moose calf, he was found orphaned in Anchorage, Alaska when his mother was hit by a vehicle. He will have a permanent home at the Wildlife Center. Arnold is two months old and weighs approximately 150 pounds.

Pip (pictured left), short for Pippi Longstocking, comes to us after being orphaned in Seward, Alaska. Pip, short for Pippi Longstocking. Pip was found alone in Seward in May 2020, too young to be on her own. It is not known what happened to mom. Pip is a sweet moose and is more independent than Jo, often choosing to be off by herself.
